Dream it, dare it, dance it!

Ballroom Dancing
What do I wear for my lessons?
Wear comfortable clothes, something you can move in. Shoes need to have a leather sole or similar as runners and rubber soles prevent ease of movement.
How long are your lessons?
All individual lessons are 55 minutes long. Group lessons are longer.
What will be best - private lessons or group classes?
A combination of private and group lessons is the most effective way to learn how to dance. Private lessons allow you to work at your own pace and pick the dances you want to focus on. Group lessons allow you to review and practise your steps and enjoy the social aspects of dancing.
What are the monthly dance parties?
Dance parties are for everyone - all levels of dance! We hold them once or twice each month. It’s fun to practice all the things you've learned in your private lessons and group classes.
We are about to get married, what do we need to know about preparation for our special dance?
Be sure to leave enough time for preparation. Usually it takes about 5 lessons to choreograph your dance. Additional lessons will allow you to become comfortable and confident with your special dance. It's best to start preparation at least two months prior your wedding day. First start by choosing your song. If you need help choosing, we can help you.
We've left it until the last minute, can you still teach us in time for the wedding?
Yes, we can arrange emergency sessions for you! We realize the many demands that the couple has on their time in the days before a wedding, so we keep it simple and fun.
Is ballroom dancing really exercise?
As you enjoy the fun of moving to music, you are exercising. Dancing may help you to improve posture, coordination, flexibility, strength and stamina.
